The Knight For God Ministries Hockey Team, often called the Knights for short, is part of Knight For God Ministries. We are a team of Christian brothers and sisters who work together not only to play the game of hockey which we love, but to spread the Gospel in all that we do. Through the sport, we form a bond, a brotherhood/sisterhood, that helps strengthen us. We use the opportunity to minister to each other, and more importantly, to others. Many view the sport of hockey as one that is too violent to have a church based team. Not so if done correctly. We aim to show that there is love above all, and that even in the face of those who would deny, we will be an example, both on and off the ice, of Christ's overpowering love. We hold Bible study, we study His Word, and Troy is the pastor, preacher, and chaplain of Knight For God Ministries. 
We will be starting our season most likely in mid January, where we will be playing at Nytex Sports Center in North Richland Hills. We also aim to play in, participate in, and eventually create charity hockey games as well as community outreach events.
